Our resident qualified optometrist D Vadher B.Sc, FCOptom with 25 years experience will conduct a thorough eye examination to establish the standard and health of your eyes. Examination to the highest possible standard is carried out using the latest optical equipment, checking for early signs of cataract, glaucoma, diabetes or high blood pressure.

You will be advised of any corrective prescription required and when your next eye examination will be due.

NHS EYE EXAMINATION

The cost of an eye examination is £25.00, but you may be entitled to a free NHS eye examination if:-
- age under 16
- age under 19 in full time education
- over 60
- on low income support, income based job seekers allowance, working families tax credit or
   disabled persons tax credit
- complex lenses
- anyone suffering from glaucoma or diabetes
- over 40 years of age and relative of someone suffering with glaucoma

Children under 16 or 19 in full time education will get a voucher on the NHS, which can be used towards the cost of the spectacles
